Gorgeous and simple! In my favorite color no less! XDD

So simple and pretty! Making strands of beads must be a pain in the neck though, XD

danke luvly!

blue? seriously? wow . . will have to make note of that for the future!

the bead strands are more a pain because of counting and measuring . . otherwise, I just sort of zone-out while doing them! it's really mentally relaxing.

I didn't fave it??? Shame on the forgetful me! XD

Relaxing, eh? Gotta try it sometime.. (I actually made some jewelery when I was younger.. I thought about trying to make something pretty, but I'm both short on cash, as well as finding semi precious beads or pendants here in Croatia.. I am a lazy bum, and scared of the wide internets.. :XD:)

Sometimes jewelry can be difficult, but you know this. One piece of mine I had to remake three times (mostly because I was still learning how to use the torch and melted it ^^; ).

:D thanks hun! was trying out a new idea I had . . . it was a combination of everything in her fave gallery with a bit of my influence thrown in as well. hard to design something when you get completely turned loose! lol . . I am use to at least a bit of direction. ;)

why thanks! ^_^ I had only her fave gallery to go by to figure out what she might like to have . . . I was going for a serene, angelic/faery type feel. and I love the silver crescent! it totally makes this piece complete. :)

I think you did a great job getting a serene, faery feel. It's really elegant, while being fairly simple, and the silver crescent definitely completes the piece, almost seeming like a pair of wings arching over the teardrops below.

 thanks! I was trying to achieve something that was faintly reminiscent of "Midsummer's Night Dream" . . or something in that neighborhood at any rate. ;) and I am so happy someone noticed the wing effect!!!

You're welcome. It does make me think more of something that a noble lady would wear as a nice day-to-day piece versus a super ornate, attending court style piece, still holding a great deal of beauty and class without being as intensely elaborate.

I tread the fine line between hopelessly ornate (ie, Brisingamen) and the terribly simple-to-the-point-of-bland. >_< gives me headaches sometimes! lol. but I adore what I do, and hope it shows. I would love if she could wear this for upscale occasions as well as day to day just to make herself feel special. ^_^

I think you tread that line well. You're jewelry always has enough detail to keep me looking at the piece for a bit to make sure I'm not missing something, while at the same time, seeming complete and not overly done when taking in the piece as a whole. I can definitely see the care and heart you put into your pieces.

And this piece is definitely something that is dressy enough to be worn for formal occasions, while still simple enough to be part of her more casual wear. :)

now that really makes my day! :D I love when someone sees what I have created, instead of just saying "pretty!" or "cool". I really try to incorporate enough details to make a piece feel more complete, and it makes me a bit sad when people don't see it. ack! don't mind me . . it's been a long day, and I doubt I am making any sense. :P

^_^ versatility is a great thing to achieve!

I haven't seen blue velvet ribbon since I was a little kid digging through my grandmothers sewing materials box. That is gorgeous and I absolutely love the colour. Takes me right back to childhood. :)

me neither! I always loved "petting" my grandmother's velvet ribbon collection. took me literally 2 years of vigilant hunting before I finally found some! and burgundy too. *sighs* nothing seems as luxurious or decadent as velvet ribbon, eh?
