Ave Sophia rosary choker v2 by redLillith Ave Sophia rosary choker v2 by redLillith
this one is actually on hold for someone . . . so no quoted price or anything. I just had to show it off, because I love how it turned out!

currently, it is a pagan decade set-up, which can be easily changed. all antiqued gold, with 49 mexican blue opals (lightly faceted). dividers are blue goldstone with byzantine framing. back is accented with gold filigree beads and crystal ends, the descent is completed with an antique lead crystal drop. the clasp is bordered with art nouveau pieces. Alternative name for this is "Illuminata".

anyone think I've had a busy month? ;)

EDIT: is now the official possession of :iconjldragonfly: . . . - or it will be as soon as I send it to her! :D

My dear girl...I don't know HOW you manage to do all this--and everything else you do!!! This is gorgeous, however, as usual! :)

you should see the list of the things I baked (+the candy) that I did this year . . . :faint: I am amazed I slept!! lol. even I am amazed at what I accomplished. ;)

 thank you for saying that hun! the opals were actually originally requested for the Nox Draconis rosary . . but at the time I couldn't find any. then low and behold, after I had finished the rosary to her satisfaction, one of my suppliers popped up with the opals!! lol. so I just had to do this with them for her . . that way it isn't too repetitive. ;) besides, I love this little invention of mine, and love any excuse to make one! :P

That is so beautiful! You must have been busy. So many new submissions.
I want it! I am so jealous of the one who will have this. And of all the people who have gotten something from you. You make jewelry so well.

thanks sweetie! I love wearing mine . .. it just feels so very . . . sophisticated? I think that's the word I'm thinking of . lol. and it gets tons of compliments . . even from staunch Catholics! there's no harm in updating an old concept, right? ;)

the ones who saw my cobalt one (wore it to my Uber Catholic step-grandad's funeral) were just in awe of it. they had a ball handling it . . . said it was a gorgeous tribute to the actual prayer cycle. ;) one gal actually called it a "sacred hug"

that's what I thought! my mom was so worried . . . she thought someone might nail me to the wall for sacrilege! she nearly fainted when many of the women asked for business cards so that they could commission ones like it for themselves. lol . . . I might wanna get on designing said cards, eh?
