Black Thorn choker by redLillith Black Thorn choker by redLillith
the ankh is familiar to many, I am sure . . an Alchemy Gothic piece, originally on a very boring chain - so what I did is predictable! lol. it's a gift from my darling :iconeternal-nocturne: whom I absolutely adore! :cuddle: thank you again dearheart!

I am spoiled. yes I am . . and I know it. :devilish:

pewter ankh, pewter chains, smoky topaz fire-glazed czech faceted beads, black crystal faceted teardrops (strategically placed in the center of each rose), all on some exquisite rose embroidered lace. :D

mine all mine!!! and I can't wait to wear it out. ^_^

It has a lot of detail, and to get a nice balance like that probably took some experimentation as well, so I bet!

thanks! the centerpiece is a special piece from Alchemy Gothic (tres expensive) . . the lace is special order from a supplier on ebay. otherwise, the whole shebang is designed/created by me, as are all the ones in my gallery! :)

Oh man hon.. what an awesome gift! And the lace you used is fabulous..

Makes me think of a very gothic retelling of Beauty and the Beast.. complete with black roses in his garden lol

thanks!! :D she is very good at gifting me unique things. I try to do the same in return.

and this was actually inspired a bit by the old 40's version of Beauty & the Beast . . . as well as the art of Joseph Vargo (amazing man!!). good guess! :D

it's a really old b&w version . . . can't remember the names of the stars in it, but visually it's very dark and stunning.
