Hope choker

. . to be more precise, Wings of Hope choker. designed especially for the Think Pink III contest. this is for the artisan crafts category (where else would I put something? lol). couldn't resist . . . as I have many pink beads just begging to be played with. that, and it's a wonderful cause.

as my watchers know, pink is not a color I use often. normally, it's only in conjunction with my daughter. this piece is nominally dedicated to her, as she is battling organ cancer right now (stage 2, her ovaries). this is a reminder that there is always hope, if you are vigilant and optimistic. which I am trying very hard to be.

pink 4mm & 5mm pearls, pink 6mm czech cathedral beads, pink faceted swarovskian beads, pink glass teardrops, and pewter butterfly and hope charm. toggle clasp, as I abhor the other type.

the contest is a wonderful thing, I think everyone should at least go look at the entries and be mindful, if not actually participate. I am actually offering 4 different prizes for the artisan crafts category . . . my submissions are mostly for show in the hopes that more will be inspired by others.
