created for one of my nephews for his yule gift. as per his request, elk bone choker with obsidian accents. standard formation . . nothing unusual. I just don't do these often! lol
I absolutely love this! seriously, when I was in the states I wanted to get one made but unfortunately if it was made of bone there would've been issues with bringing it into australia so I begrudgingly stop my search maybe i'll find one made out something besides bone, that i would be allowed to bring in here, any ideas for materials?

aww, thanks hun! actually, I have made several in the past out of wood, gemstone, and acrylic beads. traditionally, bone is the standard material, but no reason that can't/hasn't been changed. I've made many out of gorgeous wooden beads that was really wonderful against the skin. ^_^

and no . . they never did. stupid postal employees . . . gah! never fear, I am making new ones to replace those (thankfully, I have spare materials just for that!) so with any luck the new ones will arrive . . . maybe if I insure them insanely and threaten with bodily harm they will actually get to you this time!?!? >_<

thanks hun! I own 3 . . all Native constructions. part of my own heritage as well, so it was one of the things I was taught when still rather young. quillwork too, though its hard for me to find decent quills these days to play with! those are a real pain to dye. lol.
and I use to wear mine to work quite often when I was a regional secretary for the ACS. my boss loved my visual versatility. but then, she did let me wear my grass snake in my hair to work as well . . she was very permissive! lol
