thanks hun! yeah, the white made me nuts . . I redid that silly thing 4 times before I finally decided that it was either good enough for her or it wasn't . . . I refuse to keep stressing over it. all that white was hurting my eyes! and my poor brain. my sister is a triple scorpio (and all the headaches that go with that) and is notorious for being hard to please. she adores diamonds and gold, so I am hoping this will mollify her. there's over $50 in crystals on this thing!!

she frightens me! la princessa all our lives, now the reigning queen. she even talked her hubby into a $4k loan 2 years ago to "improve" her bustline! my sister knows no limits . . . it's the best or nothing. period.

I think that too, but then, I am rather biased! I do love how it finally turned out, after so much frustration and fighting and starting over. it's such a lovely piece of lace to start with, it was hard to torture it. and those crystals! setting off so many light sparks the whole time. no wonder my eyes were buggy!

and thanks hun! so long as I get input like this here, I don't care anymore what my family thinks. I don't even care if she wears it! she has no clue what I even like; at least I attempted to create something within the scope of her actual likes . . as opposed to doing something for her that I would wear . . man, that would be funny!!! (it's what my sisters do to me all the time . . *rolls eyes* they buy me stuff they like, even though it's not remotely anything I would look twice at!)

OMG! My brother does the exact same with me!
He has no idea about me as a person & doesn't really want to know either...
I find that sad, but unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it really. I can't force him to know *me*. It's something he'll have to want to do in his own time....
